SweetWorks® Hosts Hello, Cupcake! At Fancy Food Show

July 29, 2013  |  Buffalo, NY

SweetWorks®, Inc., the manufacturer of premium gourmet brands Niagara Chocolates®, Oak Leaf®, Ovation®, Sixlets® and Celebration by SweetWorks®, recently hosted Hello, Cupcake! at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York. Alan Richardson and Karen Tack, co-founders of Hello, Cupcake! joined the SweetWorks team at the show, where they continuously created cupcakes, cakes and other sweets adorned with SweetWorks confections.

Richardson and Tack are the best-selling authors of Hello, Cupcake!, What's New, Cupcake? and Cupcakes, Cookies and Pie, Oh My, the cookbooks that have created a revolution in cupcaking. Using ordinary candy and snacks, a few everyday kitchen tools, a little good old-fashioned ingenuity, and a dollop of fun, the two have turned the cake decorating world on its head with extraordinary cupcake designs.

Philip Terranova, President of SweetWorks®, commented, “We are always honored to have Alan Richardson and Karen Tack create with our confections. While they know our candies and chocolates are delicious, they also appreciate that the beautiful colors and extensive range of shapes and sizes make SweetWorks’ confections perfect materials with which to create. On top of being enormously talented, Alan and Karen are always very accessible and popular with the crowds that gather to watch their creations underway.”
